FIU is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). The University will be considered for “reaffirmation of accreditation” in 2010.

The Compliace Certification Report is due to SACS in September 2009. This report is based on responses to the SACS Principles of Accreditation.
